Set in the present, this movie recounts a tale of the ending of an ancient feud between werewolves and vampires, and although some of the story is a little hard to take, there is excellent and compelling consistency, as the story drags you in its wake.

The design, direction, special effects and acting are just great; the main disappointment is some of the subplots, which are superficial and poorly developed.

The weaponry is particularly impressive, using technology to apply modern solutions to legendary problems.
